Joe Hebert: A Prospect Generator Exploring for a World Class Discovery

Joe discusses Outcrop Golds financial position and their exploration projects in Colombia. They recently changed their name from Miranda Gold as a result of a change in management. They are putting together a portfolio of potential prospects in Colombia. They have acquired several properties that are parts of large epithermal and porphyry geologic systems.

Cauca is their flagship project with significant epithermal gold-silver veining with porphyry hosting. They have a resource of 700k ounces and are working to improve the resource by correcting, drilling, delineating, and grade modeling the vein structures. He discusses the geology of the region in detail and explains how this project differs from other exploration projects.

Another project they have is Santa Ana is another high-grade silver area with historic records going back to the late 1500s. It has good infrastructure and potential. It’s located in a Colonial District with high-grade silver-gold. The Spanish records from 1585 indicate the mining of kilograms of silver per tonne. The area has infrastructure including a highway, grid power, and water. Their drilling has revealed excellent results.

Mallama is another project with additional epithermal vein systems, and it’s possible to put together a near term production scenario for this property. The footprint of the veining is over 100 square kilometers. The area has consistent high-grade veins through the whole district.
